Lalah Hathaway just kicked off her new era by releasing a brand new album. As an added bonus for her fans, they will have the chance to see her again on the big stage when the musician embarks on a 17-date tour; Check out the details below.

The female singer famous for her polyphonic voice has just released her eighth studio albumVANTABBLACK, is now available to stream on major music platforms. The record was released under Hathaway Entertainment, which is affiliated with SRG-ILS Group or Virgin Music Group.

Her latest project consists of 16 songs, including previously released singles such as “Mood For You” featuring MC Lyte, “So In Love” and “I AM”.

“What I thought were conflicting perspectives really began to shape not only the concept of this album but also the way I saw myself. I started to reframe the way I saw color – in terms of being the Blackest person I’ve ever been,” she said of her record, adding that while she’s clear about who she is, that doesn’t exclude the other things that make up the whole of her. .

In support of her latest project, the singer will embark on a tour of the same name, kicking off at the BJCC Concert Hall in Birmingham, AL, on August 24, 2024.

She will also perform in cities such as Sacramento, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Fayetteville, Dallas, Seattle, Los Angeles, and many more.

Her final performance is scheduled for September 28, 2024, at Charleston Music Hall in Charleston, SC.
