Lamiez Holworthy was born on 12 June 1992. She was born in Pretoria and grew up in the same place.
She started her career in 2010 at the age of 17 when her father’s business failed and her mother lost her job.
The family went through a very difficult season in 2010. Her mother supported her passion and provided money to buy the necessary instruments for her to start her DJ career.

Lamiez Holworthy attended Andrew Anthony Primary School. She left school for Sunnyside Primary School, where she completed her education.
She began and completed her high school education at Laudium High School. She joined Boston Media House and earned a graduate degree in Communications.
Career
Lamiez Holworthy began her DJ career in 2010. She joined the entertainment industry 3 years later. Her mother is her biggest supporter and fan. She got a gig as a guest on the DJ Malwela radio show at Tshane FM.
Her performance was enough to get her a role on the show every Wednesday night. She was chosen to host a lifestyle show in South Africa called Living the Dream. The program is broadcast on Tshwane television. She landed her biggest role to date on the South African TV show LiveAMP.
According to her, she almost quit the entertainment industry due to an accident she had during an audition and because her car was vandalized and her deejay equipment was stolen.

Lamiez Holworthy is currently married to Khuli Chana. Khuli Chana is a South African rapper and they have been married since 2019.
Their engagement became public knowledge when Lamiez was spotted with a beautiful diamond ring on her finger. The two lovebirds tied the knot in November 2019 and celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
