Early life
Lati DMW was born to Mr. and Mrs. Abiola in 1989. He is a Yoruba man from one of the southwestern states of Nigeria.
He spent his formative years in Lagos, the commercial capital of Africa. He lost his parents when he was young.
He came into contact with Davido when they were both boys. At that time Davido was ten years old while Lati DMW was thirteen years old. Over the years, the two became close friends. Now they are truly brothers.

Lati DMW is one of the top A&R personnel in the music industry. He is one of the key people of the record label Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
As Davido’s personal assistant, he is one of his trusted advisors and travels with him around the world. He attended many concerts and performances. He is responsible for managing Davido’s schedule and ensuring that the maestro’s day goes according to plan. He has Davido’s ears and back and is one of the people who controls access to the Afrobeats star.
He is closely associated with Special Spesh, Asa Asika, Bobo Ajudua, Black Tycoone, Mayorkun, Dremo, Menace 30BG, Peruzzi, Yonda, Idowest, B-Red, Sina Rambo, Adewale Adeleke, Obama DMW, Aloma DMW, Israel DMW, and Liya.
He has also worked with other big names in the industry such as Dammy Twitch, Clarence Peters, Teni Apata, Omobonike, Speroach Beatz, Kiddominant, Fresh VDM, among others.
In 2019, Lati DMW received an exotic car (Benz) as a gift from Davido. The car is said to be worth over 90 million naira.
