Cameron Chapman plays “Anthony Lockwood” in Lockwood & Co. His character is one of the three main characters in the show who are tasked with keeping the people of London safe.
An orphan from a wealthy family, Anthony creates his own startup with his goofy and genius friend George (Ali Hadji-Heshmati) and begins hunting ghosts. The duo are then hired by Lucy Caryle (Ruby Stokes) — a gifted teenager whose psychic abilities allow her to connect with ghosts — and the trio soon become friends.
Before that, Lucy was forced by her mother to join an agency. After a mission, she became the only survivor, and her supervisor blamed her. Naturally, Lucy ran away from home and went to London, and met Anthony and George.
This trio definitely reminds us of Harry, Hermione, and Ron from Harry Potter.
So the theme of season 1 is that ghost hunters are faced with a terrifying supernatural phenomenon known as “The Problem” – a situation where simply touching these ghosts can kill you.
Therefore, Lockwood & Co. trained young people to fight against paranormal forces with iron and silver chains, silver nets, sharp swords and other devices. They especially chose teenagers who could tune their senses of sight, touch and hearing because they had a better chance of detecting and defeating ghosts.
As for the supervisors, the young ones are trained by adult ghost hunters.
The show deals with two types of ghosts — Type One (the typically less dangerous type) and Type Two (more terrifying and deadly). But there is also a Type Three that includes paranormal figures who refuse to move beyond the world of the living.

Before landing his role on the Netflix show, Cameron was in his final year of drama school. He had just signed with an agent and started auditioning. He then graduated with a BA (Hons) in Acting from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2021.
