Former MTV star Connor Smith’s allegations

An arrest warrant has been issued for MTV star Connor Smith on charges of attempting to have sex with a girl under the age of 15.

According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Connor interacted with an undercover officer posing as a minor online for “weeks.” After sending sexually explicit videos and photos of himself, he drove to meet the minor on February 9, 2023, with the intention of engaging in sexual conduct.

He was arrested by detectives at a predetermined location. However, before being arrested, the star fled in his car.

So Connor now faces three felony charges — visiting a minor, luring and distributing harmful material.

As of February 17, Connor had not surrendered. But a judge posted a $1 million bail after his arrest.

The news also comes 14 months after the former MTV star was arrested for allegedly beating and raping a 16-year-old girl. Back in December 2021, Connor was charged with one count of rape and sexual assault and two counts of criminal confinement in Cook County, Illinois.

The unidentified woman alleges she was abducted from her room in July after visiting family in Indiana. She reportedly exchanged details on Snapchat with a cat seller and gave them her address.

That night, Connor “ripped out her bedroom window, dragged her out of the room, threw her into his truck and drove to a motel while sexually assaulting her.”

However, she later changed her story, admitting that she met the alleged attacker on a dating app and willingly snuck out to meet him. However, while in the man’s truck, she was forced to perform oral sex on him while he drove them to a motel. She alleges he “slapped and choked her multiple times, urinated on her in the motel room, and forced oral sex again.”

The accuser also added that the man took her home and said he would return the next day. But her family members waited on the front lawn and chased him away when he reappeared.
