Leaving Dallas event due to verbal attack: Hania Aamir

DALLAS: Versatile film and television actress Hania Aamir has alleged that one of the event organizers not only insulted her female manager but also assaulted her and Fahad Mustafa backstage at the event in Dallas .

She was explaining the reason behind her “sudden withdrawal from her meet-and-greet performance with fans in Dallas. The ‘kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ duo – Hania Aamir and Fahad Mustafa – are on a tour of the United States.

They arranged a fan meet in Dallas, USA, which – according to Hania Aamir – went well. “Everyone saw the video of me going to the crowd and taking pictures and everything was fine.”

However, a news has spread on social media that Hania Aamir has left the show after misbehaving with fans.

She refuted these speculations in her Instagram story, saying: “I understand that a female artist leaving a performance or misbehaving is an interesting story, but would it really It would be great if the media would show their journalistic responsibility and stop making accusations against us as artists without understanding their facts.”

Speaking about the “truth” behind her departure, the showbiz star said that when she told one of the organizers of misbehaving with her female manager, “he could not talk to you like this”, he got very angry and started to attack them verbally.

“She [Hania’s manager] so distraught that she went backstage. I followed her to make sure she was okay and Fahad, a gentleman, also came to check on her. Then we decided to start with taking photos with the fan backstage, at this point he ran after us, called our names, told us to get out, canceled the security procedures and even more verbally attacked us (people had to keep him back),” her Instagram story read.

Giving further details, Hania Aamir said, “Promoter Arif Khan rushed us out to not escalate anything further and we found personal transport to return. Return to the hotel safely.”

Distressed by the unpleasant event in Dallas, she said: “We as a fraternity put in a lot of effort to make our fans happy. And such people with their theatrics are mostly trying to blacken us. I don’t know maybe it does something for their ego. But the promoters/organizers need to go the extra mile and ensure that such clowns do not ruin events and the experience of fans and artists.”

Hania Aamir also reiterated her love for her fans: “It is no secret that I love and respect my fans more than words can express. Everyone who came to see us at the event in Dallas, I love you so much and it’s unfortunate that it had to end so suddenly.”

The actress also apologized to fans for leaving the meeting suddenly. “I want to apologize to each and every one of you who came. And I love each and every one of you. I’m so sorry it had to end like this. Just getting through the bad days, I guess.”

Sharing more about her side of the story, the ‘kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ actress said, “I am proud of the fact that we have built a community that loves, trusts, supports and only sees each other as people. So it is only fair that there is transparency on this issue.”

She also vowed to stand up not only for herself but also for the artist fraternity for the unfair treatment meted out to them.

Referring to the male organiser’s bad behavior, she said: “Just because we women work in a male-dominated field, you don’t have the right to assume that you can get away with almost anything and that We will not stand up for ourselves.

Speaking back to the organizer, she said that “no matter what your position is, big or small, you have no right to disrespect anyone.”

Hania Aamir’s fans and the artist community are condemning what happened in Dallas, while also expressing support for Hania, her manager, and Fahad Mustafa.
