David Bisbal Ferre was born on June 5, 1979 in Almeria, Andalusia, Spain. He is the son of José Bisbal and Maria Ferre Montoya. His father was a professional boxer and his mother was a seamstress. Bisbal has two older siblings: a brother named José María Bisbal and a sister named Maria del Mar Bisbal.
Bisbal attended IES Al-Andalus High School in Almeria, Spain, but dropped out in his penultimate year (around the age of 15) due to lack of interest in studies.
