LiAngelo Ball’s Unlikely Hit ‘Tweaker’ Goes Totally Viral as Fellow Rappers React

Basketball player and now rapper, LiAngelo Ball, is taking the internet by storm thanks to his song “Tweaker”.

Released on January 3 under the moniker G3, the song shockingly garnered over 4 million views on YouTube and attracted the attention of other rappers.

“I can turn, bend that corner, woah-woah / B–ch, hold on tight ’cause I twist and this bitch starts to let go / And I heard that she wanna show / Who I am she ah, I kinda like it, show me some’,” he raps in the song.

The song has since skyrocketed up the US Spotify chart, reaching the top 10 with over 1.3 million streams.

Now, a series of other rappers have also come forward to praise the song.

“@LiAngeloBall sent me an open verse ima edit,” Moneybagg Yo said of the potential collaboration.

“Send verse @LiAngeloBall,” Boosie Badazz also commented.

Ball previously played in G League basketball for the Greensboro Swarm. He also played briefly for the Hornets and Detroit Pistons in preseason NBA games.

His brother, Lonzo Ball, is in the NBA and currently plays for the Chicago Bulls. Although Lonzo is credited on the song, it appears his involvement in the song was minimal. Now, Lorenzo has clarified his involvement in the creation of “Tweaker”.

“The only credit I deserve is the cover photo lol G really is! #YearOfG,” he wrote in a post to X.

Due to the track’s success, Ball was booked to play at Rolling Loud California. The festival announced the news in a post on their X account.

In 2023, Ball announced that he was about to have a child with his ex. Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood star Nikki Mudarris. Last year, the couple shared that they were about to have another baby.
