As fires continue to ravage Los Angeles, Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, has criticized those who have little to no sympathy for the wealthy who have lost their homes.
In a scathing tweet sent to his X account on January 10, Carter called people “ignorant” who have no empathy for those who have lost their homes – even if they are rich .
“I want to tell the ignorant people something… it doesn’t matter how much money you have.. no one wants to see everything they worked so hard for.. in the Ashes! Like you guys say luck is wrong and people ‘buy a new house’ like that? You guys are so weird,” she said.
I want to tell the ignorant people something… it doesn’t matter how much money you have.. no one wants to see everything they worked so hard for.. in the Ashes! It seems like you were wrong to tell the lucky people to “just buy a new house” like that? It’s all strange.

Additionally, Bethenny Frankel also spoke about the plight of the wealthy during these devastating times in a TikTok post.
“Wealthy people who experienced this disaster donated to charities and they watched on TV the plight of others,” she began. But they haven’t personally experienced what someone in Puerto Rico has experienced in their entire life.”
“These people see from the outside how miserable the other half is, and that rarely happens to wealthy people in this type of book focus,” Frankel added.
Although she admits that the rich donate to the poor, they never experience what the poor feel.
She ends by noting that she is now seeing successful grown men “sobbing” and that for her has a different effect.
“Suffering of this magnitude rarely happens to large numbers of wealthy people,” she noted.
Several celebrities have been asked to evacuate or have lost their homes, including Anna Faris, Britney Spears and Mandy Moore.
While celebrities have sent numerous messages of support to the families who lost everything in the fire, singer Chris Brown shared his own perspective on the situation, speaking in a post on His Instagram Stories said “D-don’t add up” when it came to the fire.
He then shared that he thought “Someone started these fires.”
Indeed, one person was detained shortly after a wildfire broke out near Calabasas. However, according to KTLA 5, this man was not charged in connection with the fire.
