Fans of K-pop group BLACK PINK are counting down the days until the group’s highly anticipated comeback in 2025, and so is member LISA.
The music superstar sat down with us Billboard for a new cover story released on November 14 and she talked about her plans with bandmates ROSÉ, JENNIE and JISOO to return to group activities next year after spending a year The past half year has focused on solo projects.
“I can’t wait,” she told the publication.
“We know each other very well and know how much passion we have to put into each project. So we want to show our support and say, ‘You did a great job!’ Like JENNIE and Rosie just released their own song and we’re texting, we’re on FaceTime. They’re like a family We all want to do that so I just want to say that I really love their songs,” LISA added.
Following the conclusion of the group’s Born Pink World Tour in July 2023, LISA released the independent singles “Rockstar” and “New Woman”. JENNIE filmed it idol last year and released a new single titled “Mantra” in October; and JISOO is currently focusing on acting in Korean film and television projects.
Meanwhile, ROSÉ is preparing to release a solo album, Rosieand released a collaboration with Bruno Mars called “ATP.” She recently appeared on Hot ones where she talked about BlackPink and explained why they refused to pause their music releases.
“The strongest thing about BlackPink is that each of us wants big things for ourselves and works very hard every day. I have never seen someone just say ‘I just want to rest.’ Even though we said it before, I don’t think anyone meant it really hard,” she shared.
The group is currently working on new music together and will embark on a tour, Rolling Stone report. Their last album is 2022 Born pink.
