Lizzo breaks silence on ‘silly’ sexual harassment allegations against her: ‘No regrets’

So I thought, ‘What?’ But then I hear all these other things like sexual harassment, and I think, they’re trying so hard, I don’t know what they’re trying to do, but these are things that the media can turn into. something that isn’t so.”

She added that while the “silly” statements certainly had an impact on her mental health, she has “no regrets” and carried the experience with her on her journey to becoming a boss move forward.

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleges that Lizzo pressured her backup dancers to touch nude performers at an Amsterdam club and generally made them look bad. tiger. They also claim that Lizzo’s Big Grrrl touring company subjected them to racial harassment by allegedly “treating Black members of the dance team differently than other members.” Lizzo denies all claims. Lizzo also denied the claims of former clothing stylist Asha Daniels, who sued her just a month later. Daniels alleges that while the singer preached body positivity, staff were forced to work in a “racist and sexualized environment”.

Daniels told NBC News in September 2023: “I have seen myself, my dancers, my background singers and my local team in every city being routinely harassed and bullied ”.
