Mariah Carey’s younger sister faces tragic final days without fulfilling her father’s final wishes

Mariah Carey’s father, Alfred Roy, expressed his desire for his daughter to reconcile with her estranged sister, Alison. This was on his deathbed in 2002.

Fast forward twenty-two years, and despite many efforts, Alison passed away at the age of 63, never having had the chance to fulfill her father’s dying wish of being reunited with the singer. won a Grammy Award.

Alison died in the presence of her confidant and sole companion, David Baker, in August.

It was claimed that a home hospice team was dedicated to meeting her needs in her apartment in Coxsackie.

Speaking to The US Sun, David said: “Two days ago I told her I would never forget her, that I loved her and she would always have a place in my heart.”

“In an almost inaudible voice, she said, ‘I love you.’ Those were her last words. By the next morning, she was completely unresponsive.”

Alison and her estranged mother, Patricia, died on the same day.

The “Through the Rain” singer released a public statement mourning the passing of both his mother and sister. However, David has raised doubts about the authenticity of Mariah’s grief, suggesting she should have made an effort to reach her sister through a phone call or video chat.

“Mariah has now forever denied the final wishes of both her father and her sister.”

In “The Meaning of Mariah Carey,” the singer revealed a profound revelation about her father’s last request before he passed away, that Alfred’s dying wish was “that it was me and my old sister Alison will talk again.”

When she discovers that her organs are failing and her life is slowly fading away, Alison turns to David, begging him to try to contact her famous sister. Even though he didn’t have Mariah’s contact information, David still tried his best to keep the celebrity informed about her sister’s deteriorating health.

Mariah Carey confirmed that her mother Patricia and sister Alison both passed away on the same day:

First, he informed Alison’s children of the situation and believed that one of them, who was close to Mariah, could relay the message.

David then turned to social media to get the “Obsessed” singer’s attention, but his efforts were in vain.

He revealed: “Back on August 3 – after Alison was in hospice care at home and knew she was going to die – she told me she wanted to talk to Mariah ‘before it was too late. ‘”

“I told her I didn’t have her sister’s phone number, but there was still a way to text her.”

On August 3, David also tweeted: “A sad end to a tragic life. @mariahcarey’s ‘ex’ sister is currently receiving hospice care at home.”

“The tag would have drawn her attention to the tweet and given her a way to respond. But there was no response.”

After being by Alison’s side for nearly a decade, David is said to not know whether her family has arranged a funeral or memorial service or whether they intend to do so.

He believes she may have been cremated, but he’s still not sure because no one has given him a clear answer. Her final resting place remains a mystery to him.

“It is clear that after nine years with Alison, I will never know what happened to her remains and when – or even if – there will be any kind of memorial for her that or not,” he said.

“The last time I saw her was shortly after she died. The funeral director moved her from the bed into a body bag. He zipped it up and she was gone.”

After being discharged from the hospital, she returned to her apartment under hospice care and died there three weeks later.

David points out that Mariah has a history of belittling her sister Alison in critical moments, such as when she decided not to reconcile with her sister before Alison’s death.

In 2015, a traumatic event happened in Alison’s life that left her fighting to survive. After being attacked and suffering a severe brain injury during a home invasion on Long Island, she was in critical condition, requiring life support after emergency surgery.

David recounts the disturbing incident that pushed Alison to the brink of life and death.

While Alison was visited by family members at the hospital in Albany, New York, Mariah was noticeably absent.
