Matthew McConaughey’s parents are James Donald McConaughey (father), a gas station owner and petroleum supplier, and Mary Catherine McCabe (mother), a kindergarten teacher.
He was born on November 4, 1969 in Uvalde, Texas, USA, and has two older brothers: Rust McConaughey and Pat McConaughey.
