Aida Osman and KaMillion Alja Jackson play these people and about one of these actresses, that is, Aida Osman’s family, we will discuss in this article.
Who is in Aida Osman’s family?
Aida Osman’s biological father is not in her life. And she still seems to have not gotten over the pain, the void he left. She often writes about it on Twitter. For example, she once tweeted that she forgot to text her father Happy Father’s Day the day before. She then added that because he also forgot to raise her, they got along. Then, another time, she wrote that if her father came back from buying cigarettes, she might one day stop tweeting so much to strangers.
Luckily, Aida grew up with a very good mother. Her name was Semira Osman and she remarried after Aida’s father abandoned her and the children.
Moreover, there is also a stepfather in the photo.
Meet Father Aida Osman, Yacoub Idris
Yacoub Idris is apparently Aida Osman’s stepfather. And he and Aida seem to have a good relationship.
Yacoub is still married to Aida’s mother as of this writing. He describes himself as loving, caring, and supportive on Facebook. While on Instagram @yacoubidris, he describes himself as a married professional who is dedicated to social justice. Additionally, Yacoub enjoys listening to music and playing sports such as bowling, basketball, and soccer.
As for Aida’s biological father, he gave her Eritrean-American heritage. When speaking to Vanity Fair recently about her journey to Issa Rae’s New Show, Aida discovered that she and her interviewer, who is also Eritrean-American on her father’s side, knew that both their fathers were from Keren, Eritrea, and had known each other for years.
In 2018, Aida also hinted that her father was Muslim in a tweet that read: “when my Muslim dad finds my tweets about d*ck”.
Meet Aida Osman Mother, Semira Osman
Aida Osman’s mother, Semira Osman, turned 56 in September 2021. According to LinkedIn, she is a community support specialist at V Area Service.
Semira raised two children alone while working late into the night.
Who is Aida Osman’s brother, Samson Goitom?
Samson Goitom was Aida Osman’s only brother and only sibling. Unfortunately, he passed away in March 2017. He was only 21 years old at the time.
Aida and Samson are exactly 11 months apart. But, Aida said in an interview that their mother always made up the story that they were twins.
Samson was autistic, non-verbal, epileptic, and had to wear leg braces as a child.
Telling her brother’s story to the world years after his death, she revealed that every bit of her heart belonged to her brother. Because she had to take care of him since she was eight years old, she never really developed any selfish nature in herself.
Aida, eight years old, has to put her younger brother to bed every day because her mother is at work.
Aida loved her brother more than anything and anyone. Everyone did too. Now even after his death, Aida still believes that he is still with her, guiding her and teaching her about herself.
In March 2020, Aida announced on Twitter that her brother’s wrongful death lawsuit had finally come to an end. Samson’s death was due to lifeguard negligence and poor pool design.
