While many were worried that their favorite agent Devin Rountree might be leaving, CBS simply wanted to give viewers a chance to learn more about Devin’s personal life by introducing them to his loved one, his sister, Jordyn Rountree.
Ava McCoy debuted on NCIS: Los Angeles in an episode called Perception, playing Jordyn. Not much was known about Ava’s character on NCIS: Los Angeles before her debut.
In her first episode, Devin and his sister, Devin McCoy, are stopped by police and treated harshly in an apparent case of racial profiling. Before Ava’s debut, CBS released a promotional image for the episode, showing the duo handcuffed next to a police car.
