Eleanor Robb Franchitti, wife of Dario Franchitti, was born on June 2, 1983 to parents Hector and Deborah Robb. Her parents have set high standards as they have been happily married for 43 years at the time of writing this article.

“At a time when most towns are suffering from adverse retail conditions and the general consumer mood remains gloomy, the festival helps boost the positive emotional factor.

“It’s all about the organisers, volunteers and traders coming together to create a real buzz. Everyone is looking forward to another great crowd-pleasing event.”

More than 120 different vendors have signed up to participate in the three-day festival. Venues include Mornflake Food Hall (Civic Hall), Gourmet Food Court (Bowling Green parking lot), Food Theatre (town square), White Horse Tavern parking lot, Cocoa Yard and Methodist Church Hall.

Deborah added, “The majority of visitors came from Cheshire and surrounding counties in 2011, but we also welcomed people from Scandinavia, Portugal, the USA and the Caribbean. As organisers, we are delighted to say that our hard work paid off with 97% of those surveyed saying they enjoyed the event and would return in 2012.”
