The Great British Baking Show season 12 just ended. But that doesn’t mean you have to wait until next season to see another round of delicious baking. Because, the show’s holiday spin-off, Great British Baking Show: Holidays, was aired on Netflix on December 3, 2021. And the contestants who are taking part in the UK’s favourite sweet competition this time are the ones who have returned from previous seasons. So Rosie came Great British Baking Show: Holidays as no stranger to Bake Off not only competed but also won the Channel 4 show in the previous series. The passionate baker won Christmas Baking Competition 2020. That makes her a strong contender to take the crown this holiday season. And if that happens, even without the prize money Great British Baking ShowShe was able to cash in on her fame outside of the show after leaving it.
You’ll see Rosie in the first episode of the show. She and co-stars Jamie Finn, Ruby Bhogal and James Hillery will be under the white tent making delicious Christmas treats.
Rosie and co-star Jamie also baked together on the 2019 season of the Great British Bake Off. Rosie finished the challenge as a semi-finalist.

The couple tied the knot on July 18, 2015. Rosie Brandreth-Poynter Weight Loss
In October 2019, Rosie Brandreth-Poynter suffered a terrible social media backlash after an episode of British Baking CompetitionSocial media users have branded her “horrible” with some comparing her voice to fingernails scraped on a chalkboard, and others have mocked her appearance (as well as her weight), saying she looks much older than her 28 years.
Rosie’s reaction to this was “it’s sad that after such a great show, people feel the need to be mean”.
Since then, Rosie appears to have lost a significant amount of weight. However, the secret behind this has not been revealed.
Rosie Brandreth-Poynter Career as a Veterinarian
It may surprise you, but Rosie’s main job is as a qualified vet in Oxford.
She is currently a full-time veterinarian working the night shift at Abivele Veterinary Group Limited in Abingdon, England (as of January 2020). Around the same time, she also started working part-time as a content creator and owner of Rosie and Ralph Bake.
Prior to this, from September 2016 to October 2019, Rosie was a full-time vet at Isle Valley Vets in Somerset.
For a year, from 2015 to 2016, she was a veterinary specialist at Leighton Buzzard’s Harding and Michael Ng Veterinary Clinic.
From 2013 β 2015, Rosie was a student ambassador at Cambridge University promoting Royal Canin.
Talking about her education, she studied A levels at Out Lady’s Convent High School. Then from 2009 to 2012, she studied MA (Cantab) in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Cambridge. And from 2012 to 2015, she studied VetMB at the same university.
Only then will Rosie be eligible to receive an ‘official veterinarian’ licence from Improve International.
