Keith Ori talks about flipping Zombie houses
A&E TV is back with season 4 of Zombie House Flipping with new episodes to keep viewers hooked on their TV show. The show follows professionals who restore abandoned homes after renovations. The professionals work in Orlando, Florida, where they renovate the left overs of dead structures.
One of the experts we’ll be looking at here is Keith Ori.
Keith Ori’s love of old houses developed at a young age. He has been involved in home renovations since 2002 when he bought a second home for his family and kept the first as a rental.
According to his A&E TV biography, “He renovated the house himself, giving him the confidence to pursue other rental and renovation projects. He survived the 2008 housing crisis by starting a company that prepared foreclosed homes for resale, handling 3,000 homes in 18 months.”
Since its first season, “Zombie House Flipping” has focused on the Orlando real estate scene. The city, best known for being home to Disney World, led the nation in foreclosures from 2010 to 2016. Ori and his co-stars were all working in Orlando when they were cast on the show. The show originally aired on the FYI Network until its primetime debut this season on A&E.

The Florida native currently serves as Vice President of MTL Investment Group. He is a longtime real estate investor and landlord, and is an expert in all aspects of the industry, from retail leasing to business brokerage. Since returning to flipping houses, Keith’s work on a historic zombie won him the City of Orlando’s 2013 Historic Preservation Award for Best Preservation, and he won the award a second time in 2017.
Keith also worked for SkyTel after graduating from college and traveled across the country for his work. He came and settled in Florida in 1997.
