Meet Marcus Twine, Sandra Diaz-Twine Husband
Sandra Diaz-Twine is happily married to her husband Marcus Twine. The couple exchanged wedding vows in June 1994. Before that, they were together for 2 years. As of January 2024, Sandra and Marcus have been married for 29 years.

Born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut, Sandra attended school there through sixth grade. She then went to Miami for high school and Puerto Rico for high school. She later served as a soldier in the United States Army, spending time there during the first Gulf War. Diaz-Twine worked in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as a legal secretary for a law firm and a bank teller before her Survivor experience.
Naturally, Sandra quit her 9-5 job after winning Survivor twice. She is the only one to do so, although it is likely that others will follow after “Winners at War.”
Additionally, their beloved Pomeranians are also part of their family; Sadly, one of them passed away this past summer while Diaz-Twine was filming “Island of the Idols.” Rio is his name. On February 5, she also lost Papa, her 14-year-old Pomeranian.

Marcus Twine is serving as a III Corps G-6 Sergeant Major in the United States Army. He began his work there in February 2020. Previously, Marcus was a Senior Enlisted Leader (SEL) at DISA Central Theater Command. He held that position from April 2018 – February 2020.
From May 2017 to April 2018, Marcus was a Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) & Fort Gordon G3/5/7 Major in the United States Army.
Furthermore, during that time, Marcus served “as a Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) G3/5/7 Major; Responsible for all activities, planning and training within the CCoE; Responsible for advising, planning, and implementing allied ceremonies, conferences, and military visits; coordinate functions and activities with external agencies; Responsible for announcing orders and tasks; Responsible for synchronizing the Army organization’s training development processes including Curriculum, Course Management Data, Training Resource Arbitration Council, and Mobilization Decision Review Council texture.”
He was actually sent on his fourth tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2012. According to his LinkedIn profile, after that tour ended, he was serving as a Brigade Operations Major at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Later that year, Marcus was assigned as a Senior Enlisted Leader (SEL) at DISA Central Theater Command on MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Bay, Florida.
