Moses and Betty Nokeri are a husband and wife pastors and founders of God’s Grace Ministries. This South African-influenced a capella group aims to uplift and inspire people through gospel songs.
They are also the parents of Ndavi Nokeri, winner of the Miss South Africa 2023 pageant and the first black woman to represent the country at the Miss World pageant.
Moses Nokeri
Moses Nokeri was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1970. He grew up in a poor and violent neighborhood where he witnessed much crime and injustice.
He was drawn to music to express his emotions and find hope. He joined a local choir and learned to play the guitar and piano.
He also developed a strong faith in God and felt called to preach the gospel.
Betty Nokeri
Betty Nokeri was born in Limpopo, South Africa, in 1972. She grew up in a Christian family that valued education and service.
She did very well in school and dreamed of becoming a doctor. She was also passionate about singing and was in the church choir. She met Moses at a youth camp when she was 16 and they fell in love.
Love life
Moses and Betty married in 1992 after both graduated from college. Moses studied theology, and Betty studied medicine.
They decided to combine their talents and passions to start a ministry that uses music as a tool to spread the word of God and help the poor.
They named their ministry God’s Grace Ministries and began writing and performing original songs that combined traditional and contemporary styles.
The children
Moses and Betty have three children: Ndavi, Nkosi and Naledi. Ndavi, their eldest daughter, was born in 1998. She inherited her parents’ musical and academic talents and developed a strong interest in beauty and fashion.
She has participated in many beauty contests and won many titles and awards.
She became the winner of Miss South Africa 2023 and the first black woman to represent the country at the Miss World pageant. She has also launched her own clothing line and charity to empower young women.
Their son Nkosi was born in 2000. He followed in his father’s footsteps and studied theology. He also became a pastor and joined his parents’ ministry.

Their youngest daughter, Naledi, was born in 2002. She is a talented dancer and choreographer, specializing in contemporary and African dance.
