Enough with the teenage romance! It’s time for the older ladies to find love. Premiering December 5, 2022, Back in the Groove follows three ladies, Sparkle Hyche, Steph Michaels, and Brooke Mora, all over 40, as they reconnect with their younger selves and date younger men.

The show takes them to “The Groove Hotel, a magical resort on the beautiful island of the Dominican Republic,” and there, the girls meet suitors half their age.

Excited to give fans a peek into her love life, Sparkle even took to IG to share a promo clip from Back in the Groove, captioning it, “Guys!!??? Get ready for the hottest December ever! I’m ready for my stay at The Groove Hotel! I hope you are too!!! I’ll see you at check-in on December 5th, only on @hulu!”

Who is the father of baby Sparkle Hyche?

Sparkle Hyche did not reveal his name but she was married to the baby’s father. Sadly, the two did not last long and divorced before 2000.

A celebrity stylist, entrepreneur, author, and pioneer, Sparkle discovered her love of glamour when she was just 8 years old. She then began sewing doll clothes and weaving for her family, and by the time she turned 11, her work was so impressive that friends and church members began hiring her.

As an adult, Sparkle continued to hone her skills by working at a hair salon with a multicultural clientele, and in 2006, she opened her first hair salon in Midtown Atlanta, called Static Salon. Naturally, her work began to attract the attention of local production companies, who hired her as a stylist for music videos and independent films.

In April 2008, Sparkle then opened her second salon called Salon 422 which focuses on a woman’s lifestyle, mind, body and spirit, through materials and products. From being the image consultant for the Atlanta Dream to handling the beauty needs of members of the Bravo TV series Married to Medicine or working with Olympic Gold Medalist and World Champion, Francena McCorory, Sparkle’s brand continues to soar.

In addition, Sparkle’s talent has earned her numerous awards and accolades, including Atlanta Magazine’s Women of Power and Influence, Phat Girl’s Fresh Lifestyle Honoree, and the cover of Glambitious Magazine.

Salon 422 offers services such as Color, Weave, Cut, Natural, Custom Wig Care, and Consultations. But sadly, she recently closed her salon after 17 successful years. “While I will no longer be in the salon, I will still be doing many things like working behind the scenes and in the back, raising my son, managing product and inventory, and still serving my community,” she said.

According to the star, her mother had a green thumb. My mother was amazing and did her best to keep me balanced despite my environment,” Sparkle recalls.
