Remilekun Khalid Safaru (born January 26, 1981), known by his stage name Reminisce or Alaga Ibile, is a multi-talented Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter, businessman and actor.

He performs fluently in both English and his native Yoruba. He is the founder of EDGE Records, the label that was once the parent company of Ola Dips. The label also has records by Akeem Adisa, Sojay and Yovi.

Reminisce is best known for his participation in Jah Bless’s song “Joor Remix”, which also featured Durella, Ice Prince, elDee and Ruggedman.

He launched the street song Kako Bii Chicken which instantly became a national hit and established his name.

Remi Lekun Abdulkhalid Safaru is popularly known by his stage name Reminisce. He hails from Ajilete, Nanyewa Local Government Area of ​​Ogun State, western Nigeria. He was born on January 26, 1981, making him 43 years old.

He dreamed of becoming a rapper since he was a child. Reminisce’s family supported his plan. He worked hard to improve his skills every time.

After some time, Reminisce released another amazing track “Kako Bii Chicken” and also released other songs like “If Only”, “2mussh”. “Book Of Rap Stories” is a 13 track album produced by Sarz, Legendury Beatz, Joshbeatz, Jospo and Pastor Child.

Reminisce released his second album titled Alaga Ibile on November 15, 2013. The album features Nigerian iconic artists Wizkid, Davido, Fela Kuti, Fantasi and 3rd World.

In 2015, Reminisce released his third album, Baba Hafusa. The album was the big breakthrough he had been waiting for, as it charted at number 12 on the Billboard World Music category.

Baba Hafusa’s album remained at the top of iTunes for weeks and is considered by many Nigerians to be one of the best hip-hop albums in Nigerian history.

This is due to the combination of hip-hop, fuji and afrobeats. He has also released other albums such as El-Hadj (2016) and Ponmile (2017).

Apart from releasing singles and albums, Reminisce has also done wonderful collaborations with many artistes such as: Phenom in “ASHEWO”, MI Abaga in “Shekpe”, Mr Eazi in “If E No Be God” and Dj Enimoney in “Diet”.
