Early life
Minnie Dlamini Jones was born on the 7th day of July 1990 to Jabulani Dlamini and Queen Dlamini.
She started acting at the age of three (3). She has a younger brother, Khosini Dlamini.
She grew up in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. She got her first internship when she was 17 years old and she had a passion for the media industry.
Education
Minnie Dlamini Jones graduated from Northland High School for Girls.
She graduated from the University of Cape Town with an arts degree that equipped her for a career in film, media and theatre.
Career
Minnie Dlamini as an actress rose to fame when she showcased her immense talent in a cameo role in the 2010 hit movie Generations.
The media industry took notice of her talent and she was cast in several other films such as The Wild, Rockville. As a model, Minnie has been the current face of LEGit since 2011. She started her fashion line called Minnie-series.
She began hosting for LIVE in 2010 after making her on-screen debut while covering Youth Day and the World Cup celebrations in South Africa in 2010. She co-hosts the South African lifestyle show Mzansi Insider.

Minnie Dlamini is currently pregnant and is married to Quinton Jones. The couple met after she split from Itumeleng ‘Itu’ Khune in 2014 due to his infidelity. According to her, she expected her relationship with Itumeleng to end in marriage.
She and Quinton Jones met at Urban Brew Studios in Johannesburg and went public with their relationship in 2016 with an engagement announcement.
They got married in Durban in July 2017. They had a formal wedding ceremony in September 2017 at Somerset West in Cape Town.
She founded her charity, the Minnie Dlamini Foundation, in 2014 to help girls in South Africa get a good education.
