MorMor is the stage name of Seth Nyquist, a Canadian indie pop musician from Toronto. He was born in 1992 and spent some time in foster care before being adopted by a Swedish family. “MorMor” means “grandmother” in Swedish, and the name was inspired by his grandmother.
An accomplished musician, Nyquist excelled in both the school choir and band. Despite his interest in music, Nyquist initially studied sociology at Ryerson University in Toronto.
