my time at sandstone
“My Time at Sandrock” is the second game in the My Time series, produced by Pathea Games. The game is set in a place called Sandstone, a desert town located north of Portia. Interestingly, the game’s timeline parallels that of the original My Time at Portia. In this new game, players can expect to meet a bunch of new characters, and there are even hints that some familiar characters from the first game may make an appearance.
My time at Sandstone Rough
In the game My Sandstone Time, roughhide is an important crafting material used to create cool outfits on the tailoring machine, allowing you to change the appearance of your character. The easiest way to obtain this leather is to defeat Thornjumpers, cunning creatures disguised as cacti found near your base.
Just equip the weapons you got from the Pens in town and shoot them down. Additionally, you can obtain Rough Skin by defeating Boxing Jack and Pensky near Gecko Station, but unlocking this area requires completing the main quest.
Once you have obtained the leather, use the Tailoring Machine blueprint in the Research Center to turn it into tanned leather. This opens the door to crafting upgraded clothing and weapons, providing a significant boost to your starting gear. So get ready to explore, battle and level up your style in the vibrant world of Sandrock!

How to get rough leather in Sandrock?
In My Sandstone Time, to get rough skins, you mainly get them by defeating monsters. The easiest way is to take the Thorn Jumper. These crafty creatures, which look like cacti, hang out near your base, between your workshop and the Eufaula Scrap Shop. When you approach a bunch of cacti, if one of them shakes, that’s a thorn springtail in disguise. Equip the weapon (you can get it from the Pen in the town speech) and defeat it.
You can also get Rough Skins by defeating Boxing Jack and Pensky near the Gecko Station. To reach the Gekko Station ruins, you need to complete the game’s main mission and activate the “Operation De-Geelate” mission. Now, once you have rough leather, you’ll want to turn it into tanned leather. To do this, use a tailoring machine. Unlock the Research Center’s tailoring machine blueprint from Qi. It requires 12 data disks and takes four days.
Tanned leather makes it easy to craft upgrades such as Rescue Team Outfits, Explorer Outfits, and Iron Greatswords. These are much better than the basic stuff you start with in the game. Remember, the Gecko Station ruins are part of the journey, so keep on completing the mission. If you need more tips, the game also has guides for obtaining Quartz and Iron Ore. Happy crafting!

You choose your own path and decide how to spend your days in the game. For example, you can explore the desert, collect resources, and use them to craft various things. You can also accept missions and missions, which are like challenges that you complete to earn rewards.
Construction and design are also an important part of the game. You can build buildings, decorate your home, and even help improve the town itself.
