Early life
Now Maps was born on March 30, 1989.
He is the first and only son in his family and has two younger sisters. His father is a Christian pastor and musician along with his mother. He inherited his musical skills from them.

He was born and raised in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.
Education
Maps attended Sunnyside Primary School and Lyttelton Manor Secondary School.
He then studied Information Technology, Programming and Software at the University of Pretoria.
Career
Despite his background in information technology, Nay Maps possesses innate talent and passion for the arts. He started his career as a presenter and got his big break as a presenter on the Hashtag program on ANN7.
He also works in the Modeling industry and has appeared in numerous commercials for top South African brands. His first role on TV brought him widespread fame.
He was cast as a guest star as Tshepo in the second season of Isibaya in 2014 and since then he has not looked back but has made great strides in that field.
His guest role on Isibaya landed him a spot in the cast of South Africa’s most popular series Uzalo. He plays Mxolisi Mdletshe; a young man who breaks away from his family’s business and discovers the dirty work involved in the business.
Along with two co-stars, he was eliminated from the show after four years in 2018, causing negative reactions from fans and supporters of the show. He is also musically gifted. He has yet to release any official recordings as he spends more time acting, but has released covers of popular songs Controller and Adorn.
He launched his Nay Maps Clothing line in Durban and is looking to expand to other parts of South Africa.
