early life
Nolwazi Shange Ngubeni was born on January 19, 1984 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
She grew up in Pinetown and later moved to Claremont, a suburb south of Cape Town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. She is 40 years old.
She grew up in a musical family. Her grandmother was the director of the church choir, and her aunt and uncle were also members of the choir, so it was natural for her to join the choir.
During her teenage years, she was an athlete at Pinetown Senior Elementary School where she participated in sports, singing, theater performances, and more.
