He is known in the music industry as Obama DMW. He is the Founder and CEO of the record label Obama Music Worldwide (OMW).

Early life
Obama DMW was born into the prestigious Uthman family in the late 80s. He grew up in the commercial city of Lagos.
He was raised in a Muslim family. As a teenager, he was always interested in the entertainment industry. This explains why he always attended and organized music shows when he was a college student.
Despite being a science student, he began managing emerging artists at his university.
Education
Obama DMW completed his primary and secondary education at top private schools in Lagos.
He obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos.
Career
After completing college, Obama DMW immigrated to Canada in pursuit of greener pastures. While in the country, he studied artist management.
Upon returning to Nigeria, he co-founded a record label with his friend. The label was called Holla At Your Boy. But the label closed after the death of his partner.
A few years later, he decided to start another record label and named it Obama Music Worldwide (OMW). It was during this time that Obama DMW became acquainted with Afrobeats star, Davido.
Over the years, Obama DMW has become one of Davido’s key men and a senior member of the 30 Billion Gang family. He is one of the people who controls access to the music star. OMW has a close relationship with DMW.
In 2020, Obama DMW signed an emerging singer, Ayanfe to his record label. He helped Ayanfe become a better musician and now, he is one of the fastest rising artists in the country.
Ayanfe is the man behind hit singles Focus and Ori Mi, which dominated local music charts for months.
As a music director and talent manager, Obama DMW is passionate about nurturing emerging African artists and promoting their music on the global stage.
He sparked controversy in late 2020 after calling Wizkid’s Made In Lagos album a Wack. He took to his Instagram page to express his regret over the quality of work Wizkid put into his latest project. According to Obama, Ayanfe’s EP is much better than Wizkid’s album.
