It was a happy day for the Jackson family, because Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, was officially engaged to Justin Long.
The 26-year-old singer and actress shared the engagement news in a series of photos posted to her Instagram on December 6.
“Happy birthday to my sweet blue,” her post began.
Jackson added: “Living with you these past few years has been an indescribable whirlwind and I couldn’t have dreamed of anyone more perfect to do it all with.”
“Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you,” her post concluded.
The carousel of photos accompanied by loving captions takes an inside look at the couple’s relationship, including adorable photo booth snaps, selfies of the couple — who started dating in 2022 — check out their Halloween costumes as well as them hugging on the tour bus.
Hidden in the series of photos, Jackson attached a photo of the proposal. During their engagement, Jackson wore jean shorts with tights and brown knee-high boots, along with a cream sweater paired with a matching baseball cap.
Long wore black pants, boots and a white button-down as he knelt on one knee in front of Jackson. The actress smiled brightly at this event.
Since her father’s death, her siblings, Prince Jackson, 27, and Blanket Jackson, 21, have largely remained out of the spotlight. However, she has toured with the rock band Incubus and has appeared on American Horror Story.
Even though they weren’t photographed together often, Jackson said the brothers remained close.
“We’re very close in age,” Jackson specifically said of her brother Prince in an interview with Grilled Tuna with Stryker.
“We grew up with the same teacher through each grade. [We were] treated like twins, so I think we have a little telepathy there,” she added.
Jackson and Long are the latest celebrity couple to get engaged. This news comes days after The Chainsmokers member Drew Taggart got engaged to his girlfriend, Mari Fonseca.
