Throughout his career, he participated in many expeditions to the Titanic, including the historic first human visit in 1987.
In 2010, Paul-Henri Nargeolet was involved in a mission to create a 3D map of the shipwreck site and assess its level of deterioration using ROVs and autonomous underwater robots. His expertise also extended to the search for the flight data recorder of Air France Flight 447, which crashed in 2009.
