Paul Okeugo hails from Jos, Plateau State, and was born to Egonu Okeugo and Gladys Onyejekwe.

He was born on August 18, 1975 and is the youngest son in the family.

Paul Okeugo’s career began when he studied research and analysis at the National War College. From there, he moved into the demanding world of Sales and Marketing by joining British American Tobacco (BAT) in 2003 as a Channel Development Area Manager.

He was recruited by Nokia in 2008 (when the brand was still the world’s leading mobile phone brand) and was promoted to Senior Business Director and Head of Sales, responsible for sales and retail for Nigeria, West and Central Africa.

In 2015, Paul Okeugo moved to Microsoft as Senior Sales Manager in Nigeria, where he led and inspired sales teams across West and Central Africa, focusing on Nigeria to develop and execute sustainable market growth strategies.

Paul Okeugo is the Senior Business Director for Nigeria at HMD Global OY (Nokia), tasked with supporting the re-emergence of the Nokia brand by developing and implementing a sustainable market.

He is also a Board Director of COSON, Nigeria’s leading entertainment content monetization company. Paul is also the founder of the Guild of Artists and Poets and a senior member of the Abuja Literary Society and the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA).
