He is a Nigerian singer, dancer, songwriter, performer and record producer.
He was previously a member of the duo P-Square with his twin brother, Peter Okoye, better known by his stage name Mr.P.
RudeBoy rose to fame in the 2000s while he was still in the group before they decided to leave the group and pursue a solo career.

Early life
Rudeboy was born Paul Okoye on November 18, 1981 in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, from Ifite, Dunu in Anambra State. His father, Mazi Moses Okoye, is a businessman while his mother, Josephine Okoye, is a businesswoman.
He has a twin brother named Peter Okoye (Mr.P). Rudeboy grew up in a large family with other siblings, including his twin brother, Jude Okoye, Tony Okoye, Mary Okoye, Ifeanyi Okoye and Lilian Okoye.
They are commonly referred to as the “Okoye Family” or the P-Square Family.
They are natives of Anambra state but the family lived in Jos, Plateau state during the 1980s and 1990s.
Rudeboy attended St. Murrumba Secondary School in Plateau State and majored in Business Administration at the University of Abuja.
He began pursuing his music career while a student at St. Murumba’s High School as an extracurricular activity.

Paul ‘Rudeboy’ Okoye attended St. Murumba Secondary School in Plateau State, Nigeria alongside his twin brother, Peter, also known as Mr. P.
Rudeboy attended drama club and music school, where he began performing songs produced by MC Hammer, Michael Jackson and Bobby Brown with his brother Peter.
They started dancing at the same school. He later studied Business Administration at the University of Abuja.
Career
Paul ‘Rudeboy’ Okoye started his career in a band with his twin brother, Peter Okoye. It was an Acapella group, inspired by the dance moves of Michael Jackson.
Their debut album, Last Nite, was sponsored by a cigarette company and they were later nominated for a KORA Award.
They also released another album titled Get Squared in 2005 under Squared Records. The album featured the song Busy Body. This song was a popular hit both domestically and internationally and brought them a lot of fame.
However, the group P-Square disbanded in 2017, with both artists pursuing their own music careers.
Paul Okoye released his first solo song Nkenji Kek and Fire Fire in the same year. His song Reason With Me became the most viewed song on Youtube in Africa in 2019.
He is the owner of Fire Department Inc, a record label he founded in 2019.
