Persona 5 Royal Gameplay

In Persona 5, you play as a high school student named Joker in modern Tokyo. Your life is divided between being a student and exploring a special place called the Metaverse. In the metaverse, you can use special abilities called “Characters” to fight creatures called “Shadows.” The game combines school life, friendship, and dungeon crawling. You can form relationships with friends called “confidants,” each of whom will grant special abilities to combat.

The story unfolds with scripted events and choices that impact the Joker’s life. Throughout the game, you’ll visit different locations, hang out with friends, and uncover mysteries in the metaverse, all while managing Joker’s time and making crucial decisions.

The game also features turn-based combat, where using the right skills and exploiting your enemy’s weaknesses is the key to victory. As you progress, you’ll discover new places, meet new friends, and uncover secrets hidden in the game world.
