Pokémon Emerald Wiki

Pokémon Emerald Edition is a video game released in 2004. It was produced by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. It was first launched in Japan in 2004 and then in other countries in 2005. This game is like the third installment in the Pokémon series after Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. This is the last game in the third generation of Pokémon games.

In Pokémon Emerald, you play as a Pokémon trainer, just like in previous games. You can control your trainer from a top-down view. As in Ruby & Sapphire, your main goal is to explore the Hoenn region, defeat the eight Pokémon Gyms, and then face the Elite Four and their champion.

There’s also a side story where you stop two bad groups from trying to use powerful Pokémon for their own reasons. In addition to Pokémon from Ruby and Sapphire, the game also features Pokémon from Ruby and Sapphire that are not available in Pokémon Gold and Silver.
