PS5 Fortnite update not working
The latest Fortnite update, version 26.20, is causing problems for PlayStation 5 (PS5) users. While players on other platforms such as PS4, Xbox, PC, Android, and Nintendo Switch can access the update, PS5 users are experiencing issues downloading it. Fortnite developer Epic Games is currently investigating the issue.
Epic Games acknowledged the issue in a tweet: “We are aware that players on PS5 are experiencing issues downloading the v26.20 update.” They mentioned that you can now download the update on PS5, which should also resolve matchmaking issues. However, they later released a follow-up message saying that the problem has not been completely resolved and is still under investigation.
This means some PS5 players may not be able to download the update, so they won’t be able to log in and play Fortnite. Epic Games is also working on a new Transformers bundle, which includes items such as the new Tank, Bumblebee, and Megatron skins, and should be available in the Item Store soon.
