early life
Reiko Aylesworth was born on December 9, 1972, in Evanston, Illinois, of Dutch, Welsh, and Japanese descent. Her first name is Reiko and her last name is Aylesworth, which belongs to the Anglo-Saxon surname. She has never revealed the identity of her father and mother.
She first developed an interest in acting while living in Springfield, Illinois from 1987 to 1988.
As her family prepared to move to Seattle, Washington, Reiko Aylesworth was chosen for the role of Consuelo in West Side Story after understudying in several plays at the Springfield Theater Center.
