The game features inventory management similar to Resident Evil 4, a merchant named “The Duke” for purchasing supplies and upgrades, and the ability to hunt animals for culinary advantages.
A typewriter acts as a manual save point, and a village map and journal track the player’s progress. Notable additions include a photo mode and a button to skip cutscenes. Additionally, the game includes a mercenary mode and allows access to multiplayer third-person shooter Resident Evil Re:Verse.
