Rihanna ‘Starts Over’ on New Album, Says She Won’t Retire From Music

Last week, Rihanna trolled fans by wearing a shirt that read “I’m retired,” but she recently clarified her decision to wear the shirt and noted that she would not leaving the music industry anytime soon.

In fact, the beauty mogul said she is currently working on her ninth studio album.

The singer attended the red carpet event for the launch of her latest venture, Fenty Hair, and she spoke with Extra to clarify whether or not she is retiring.

“That’s just me looking to the future. I’m not retired yet. I just love that dress. I got it as a gift and I love it,” she said of her fun t-shirt, adding, They don’t. read second line; I’m not retired, I’m just retiring from dressing – it takes a lot of work.”

She later gave fans more insight into her musical plans in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, and said she was starting over on her new album.

“Yeah, I’m starting over… But I don’t want to neglect the songs I have, so I really want to go back and listen to things with new ears, with my new perspective and then see what happens.” What applies and what I still love,” she added.
