The singer attended the red carpet event for the launch of her latest venture, Fenty Hair, and she spoke with Extra to clarify whether or not she is retiring.
“That’s just me looking to the future. I’m not retired yet. I just love that dress. I got it as a gift and I love it,” she said of her fun t-shirt, adding, They don’t. read second line; I’m not retired, I’m just retiring from dressing – it takes a lot of work.”

She later gave fans more insight into her musical plans in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, and said she was starting over on her new album.
“Yeah, I’m starting over… But I don’t want to neglect the songs I have, so I really want to go back and listen to things with new ears, with my new perspective and then see what happens.” What applies and what I still love,” she added.
Rihanna further explained that music was “a new discovery” for her and that she is currently rediscovering everything. She noted that she had been working on her ninth studio album for a long time, to the point where she “kind of put all of that aside.”
