Early life and education
Robert Cross was born on September 21, 1990 in Pembury, Kent, England, United Kingdom. Although his parents’ names have not yet been revealed, they are commonly referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Cross. Rob Cross, a professional darts thrower, first attracted attention in October 2015 when he attempted to qualify for the 2016 BDO World Darts Championship, although he was disqualified. Tony Martin eliminated in the final round of 64.
He also competed in the 2015 World Masters but was knocked out by Darius Labanauskas in the round of 48. Despite these early setbacks, Cross’s potential became apparent in the 2016 UK Open, where he reached the next round. The final 32 teams as an amateur qualifier. Later that year, his success on the PDC Challenge Tour, where he won three events, earned him a Tour Card for the 2017 PDC Pro Tour.
