In South London, Yas finds Dom crying in the bathroom of an art exhibition. They meet again and form a strong friendship over their shared connection. Dom moves back in with his parents after being tricked by his girlfriend Gia into living with his best friend Eric. When they run into Gia and Eric at a restaurant, Yas confuses Gia by pretending to be Dom’s new lover.

They have lunch together and Yas reveals that she broke up with her boyfriend Jules because he didn’t wave at the tourists on the boat. They decide to steal Jules’ records back from her apartment. Yas admits that she started out of sympathy with Dom but then she started to enjoy their time together.

They go to a karaoke bar to get Jules’ keys and sing a song together. Afterwards, Yas kisses Dom. They break into Jules’ apartment and find Jules with his new girlfriend. They accidentally break Jules’s artwork and Yas learns that Jules was the one who broke up with her, which makes Dom sad. They have a fight and Yas throws away her records.

Months passed and they dated other people but couldn’t get over each other. Yas got a job as a costume designer on a film set and Dom moved out of his parents’ house. Dom got a call from Yas while attending Nathan’s next art show. Yas waved to Dom from the boat on the Thames and when they finally met, they hugged and kissed passionately.
