Rainbow Six Marketplace
For the first time, Rainbow Six Siege players can participate in the Community Market to buy and sell in-game cosmetic items. Similar to Steam’s Community Market, this feature allows players to list cosmetic items for sale. It’s very user-friendly, but please note that it’s still in beta and limits the items you can list.
To access it, sign up for the Marketplace beta on the official Ubisoft page and once selected, you’ll receive an official invite to use the Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace, where you can easily browse and explore the community marketplace.

Rainbow Six: Siege
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Rainbow Six: Siege is an online tactical shooter video game that emphasizes environmental destruction and player cooperation. The game was originally released on December 1, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, and later expanded to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2020, Google Stadia in 2021, and Amazon Luna in 2022.
The game stands out in that it does not have a traditional campaign, but instead offers short missions called “scenarios” that focus on the training of new recruits to fight the White Mask terrorist organization. Players take on the role of attackers or defenders in various modes such as hostage rescue and bomb defusing.
As part of the Rainbow Six Siege series, Rainbow Six Siege was relaunched after Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Patriots was canceled. The core concept of the game is to let players play the world’s top counter-terrorist agents, drawing inspiration from real-life counter-terrorist forces and historical sieges.
The game, which is powered by AnvilNext 2.0 and uses Ubisoft’s RealBlast technology to create destructible environments, was widely praised for its tense multiplayer and tactical focus, although its progression system and initial content limitations were criticized.
Despite initial sluggish sales, Rainbow Six Siege adopted a games-as-a-service model, offering free downloadable content packs, which greatly increased its player base. Over the years, post-launch updates have made it one of the best modern multiplayer games, and it has been recognized for its improvements.
Ubisoft’s partnership with ESL has made Siege an esports phenomenon, with the game having over 70 million registered players as of December 2020. In January 2022, a spin-off of the game, Rainbow Six: Resurrection, was released, which includes Siege characters.
