Sai Pallavi Senthamarai Kannan (born 9 May 1992), known professionally as Sai Pallavi, is a multi-talented Indian actress and dancer. She hails from Chennai and is known for her debut roles in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films.

Early life and education
Sai Pallavi was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on 9 May 1992. She was born into a Badaga family, her father’s name is Senthamarai Kannan and her mother’s name is Radha Kannan.

She grew up with her younger sister Pooja Kannan, who is also a famous actress. She was born in Chennai but raised in Coimbatore.
It was also in Coimbatore that she received her education. Sai Pallavi attended and graduated from Avila Convent School. She completed her medical studies at Tbilisi State Medical University, also known as the Medical Council of India. She graduated from the university in 2016.

Sai Pallavi is currently single and has never been married. She has been in many relationships, but she always makes sure to keep the identities of her lovers a secret.
Career
Sai Pallavi revealed in an interview that although she never had any formal training to become a professional dancer, she always wanted to do something related to dance.
She participated in several cultural events at school, which made her famous as a dancer. Due to her burning passion for dancing, she received great support from her mother.

Sai Pallavi also participated in the dance reality show Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva, which premiered on Vijay TV in 2008; she was also a finalist in the show Dhee Ultimate Dance Show (D4) which premiered on ETV in 2009.
Sai Pallavi also appeared as a child actress in Kasthuri Maan at the age of 13. At the age of 15, she appeared in Dhaam Dhoom.
Back in 2014, while she was studying in Tbilisi, an American film director named Alphonse Puthren cast her as Malar in a film titled Premam. Sai Pallavi won several “Best Newcomer” awards that year, including the Filmfare Award for Best Newcomer.
