Sakshi Dhoni was born and raised in Lekhapani, Assam, India, on 19 November 1988. Her father, RK Singh, worked at the Kanoi Group’s Binaguri Tea Company, while her mother, Sheila Singh, was a homemaker.
Her family had to move from her hometown in Lekhapani to Dehradun, where her grandparents lived.
Sakshi Dhoni’s grandfather was a sub-divisional police officer at that time. She was born in a family of three. She has two siblings. An elder brother named Akshay Singh and an elder sister named Abhilasha Bisht.
According to sources, Sakshi Dhoni completed her primary and secondary education in her hometown Lekhapani. She completed her secondary education at Welham Girls’ School in Dehradun.
She holds a Bachelor of Hotel Management from Aurangabad Institute.
Personal life
Sakshi Dhoni met her husband, MS Dhoni, while she was doing an internship at Taj Bengal, Kolkata. They met in 2007 but started dating officially in 2008.

Two years after their romance, the couple decided to legalize their relationship by getting married on July 3, 2010. The wedding was held at the Vishranti resort, with many celebrities in attendance.
Five years after their marriage, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl whom they named Ziva Dhoni, in February 2015. Generally, Sakshi Dhoni is an introvert. She always stays away from paparazzi and other public gatherings.
