Early life and education
Sanjay Pandey was born on 30 September 1962 to Indradev Pandey and Malti Pandey in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. He spent his childhood in his hometown where his father worked as a government employee. From an early age, he was interested in public service and wanted to become a police officer.
