Early life and education

Career
Santa Anzo’s career began in 1995 when she worked as a waitress at Kampala Casino while also modeling there. In 1999, she partnered with Sylvia Owori to found Ziper Models, where Anzo managed the business while Owori focused on talent management. This partnership lasted about 16 months before Anzo ventured out on his own.
In 2001, she founded Arapapa Fashion House, which means “butterfly” in her native Madi language. Two years later, she launched Uganda International Fashion Week, which has become an important platform to showcase Ugandan and African fashion.
