Scripps has formed a new AI group with Kerry Oslund named vice president of AI strategy and Christina Hartman vice president of emerging technology operations. Both will report to Chief Transformation Officer Laura Tomlin. Keith St. Peter, appointed director of newsroom AI, will lead news AI initiatives. Oslund, formerly VP of corporate strategy, will focus on AI business development, while Hartman, formerly a director at Scripps News, will oversee the ethical adoption of AI across organization. The team aims to drive innovation, growth and efficiency, transforming Scripps with AI to improve workflow and product development.
