Early life
Seyi Hunter was born in Surulere, Lagos. She grew up in a polygamous family and has many siblings. Her father is an Igbo man – from Eastern Nigeria while her mother is from Akwa Ibom State.
Seyi is very friendly and learned to speak Yoruba as a child. Her childhood was difficult as she lost her father at a very young age.
Her mother was also a housewife and things for her family at that time were very difficult. Seyi also lost her half-sister at the age of 15.
Education
Seyi Hunter completed her primary and secondary education at Surulere before transferring to Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State.
There she studied Performing Arts and Industrial and Labor Relations. She also took a photography course in 2014.
Career
The aspiring actress began her acting career in 2011 after meeting Funsho Adeola at a movie location. Her first role was in the movie Aromomomo which was shot in Ibadan.
She continued to appear in other films such as Broken Fixtures, My Club, Insanity, Pain, Alenibare and Rukayat alongside other actors Tonto Dikeh, Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Aimakun and Collins Onwochei.
She currently owns a company called Hunter’s Media that specializes in film production, documentaries, equipment rental, modeling, and photography.
She is also the CEO of the company that organizes the Miss Bikini Nigeria beauty pageant.

Seyi Hunter likes to stay indoors on her “off days”. She is a book lover and also regularly watches movies.
