Profession
Osbourne revived her husband’s heavy metal career by founding the summer Ozzfest tour, which took place nearly every year from 1996 to 2018. In 1996, Osbourne founded Ozzfest, a summer touring music festival.
It became a regular event in rock music and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2006. By 2007, ticket prices had reached £76 and Osborne announced that tickets would be free to allow more people to attend the concerts.
Before Ozzfest was formed, Osbourne contacted Lollapalooza, another rock/pop music festival, asking Ozzy to perform at the festival that year, but was turned down and told that Ozzy was “uncool” and did too much drugs.
Given her success in managing her husband, Osbourne branched out into managing other shows by creating Sharon Osbourne Management. The new company, which had only one employee, Osborne, managed artists including Gary Moore, Motörhead, Lita Ford, The Smashing Pumpkins and Coal Chambers.

In January 2003, Osbourne and her family hosted the 30th American Music Awards. The night was filled with constant “beeps” thanks to some nasty and obscene comments made by Osbourne and Ozzy.
