Shiho Yoshimura was born on December 13, 1989 in Isehara, Kanagawa, Japan to Mr. and Mrs. Yoshimura. Her mother was a professional volleyball player, and her father played soccer. In 2011, her career reached a milestone when she represented Japan at the 26th Universiade. That same year, Shiho led her team to victory in the All Japan Incare tournament, winning the King’s Award. best goal scorer thanks to his outstanding performance.
In December 2011, Shiho Yoshimura moved to Ageo Medics, a Challenge League team. Her impact on the team was profound. During the 2012/13 V.Challenge League season, she established herself as the team’s runner-up, leading Ageo Medics to a second-place finish. Her outstanding performances earned her the award for Best New Face.
In 2013, she once again represented Japan at the Summer Universiade. However, in June 2016, Shiho Yoshimura announced her resignation from Ageo Medics, marking the end of her professional volleyball career.
