Sid George Wilson III was born on January 20, 1977 in Iowa, United States. He is widely known by his stage name DJ Starscream or #0 and is the youngest member of the Grammy Award-winning metal band, Slipknot.

Wilson grew up in Iowa and is of English descent. He took the name Slipknot from ‘Transformers’, a movie character with the same name. As a fan of the Transformers franchise, Wilson also has similar tattoos.
